Christmas 2007! new
The month I dreaded is here and the downhill slide to my 40th birthday is getting faster.

I was depressed as heck and gave up for awhile, I said what the heck and ate anything and forgot what lessons I've learned in life.
I hit my 80 pounds lost mark I would love to lose another 50, but I'll be happy with 25 more gone.  I'm not so set on the scale as I was before, I'll take smaller sized clothing any day.

Jan 2006                                                                      March 2007

The picture below on the left is April 1999 (172 lbs) on the right Feb 2007 (219 lbs)

I'm not sure how I can wear the same dress from 1999 since I was about 40 lbs less.   I walked, ran, and worked a full time job on top of 2 pre-teens and a family.  My wedding rings are so big, I'm going to have to have them re-sized and I can wear a ring my husband bought from 2000 (size 7).

My body composition has changed drastically in the past 9 years - I used to be hip and thigh heavy and now I carry most of my weight in my stomach and arms.

Pictures can be a great thing helping you see small changes or things you need to change.  Unfortnuately, I nit pick myself to death and I see the fat, flabby arms, the "bubble" butt I've always had, the stomach that's the same size as my boobs, kind of like a uni-boobach...boobs/stomach and there is no definition between the two.  I went from a 46 G to a 40 DD and I know if my midsection looks the same size as boobs, then my stomach has to be HUGE.

see the walls in these pictures? that's been my "therapy" the past 6 weeks painting has helped alot with making sure that I move my slow dragging butt daily ROTFL climbing a 8 & 10 ft ladder has helped stregthen my legs and hips alot.

In June, my husband has his 20th HS reunion and I bought 2 outfits -

The black dress dress is a size 16, and I have to get it altered, it's about 5 inches too big through the body. (it's pinned in the back for pictures)

The black pants outfit is a bit snug through the mid section, so I need to lose another 1" for it to fit "comfortably".   If I don't wear this outfit, I'm keeping it for another time I like it so much.

Oh did I mention the shoes? :P I haven't worn heels since I worked in my Real Estate office 8 years ago, so it's been tough finding a comfortable nice pair of shoes.
These shoes were in the wedding section, and I found I could get them dyed to match my outfit.  They turned out great and everyone comments how pretty they are, my 21 yr old daughter keeps trying to "borrow" them lol

Many of life's failures are experienced by people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.
